Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Beach
A chopper hovering above a well-attended California coastline suddenly started spinning uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers watched.
Footage shared on the internet capture the aircraft starting to spin near Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the border of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palm groves and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Information
Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
